Jessica spent five years working as a labor and delivery nurse and pursued a career in midwifery because she finds providing care before, during, and after childbirth to be rewarding. She enjoys working with patients during this exciting period in their lives and empowers women to be an active voice in their birth plans to ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Jessica loves living in Sullivan, Missouri. When she isn’t caring for patients, she enjoys swimming, fishing and baking with her family.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky. She completed her midwifery internship at BJC Medical Group Midwifery in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jessica Eakins, CNM, is a board-certified nurse midwife who sees patients 13 years and older. For gynecologic services, she can provide annual women’s wellness exams, contraceptive counseling, family planning, and treatment for endometriosis, infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and urinary incontinence.
