Dr. George Varghese is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Attending Physician at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. His practice includes general (adult and pediatric), surgical and cosmetic dermatology. He has a particular interest in complex medical dermatology and patients with long standing chronic neurocutaneous issues, particularly chronic itching. Dr. Varghese offers aesthetic procedures including Laser skin resurfacing, Botox and injectable fillers, such as Restylane and Juvederm. In addition, he has an active interest in laser therapy and will treat patients interested in hair removal, chronic leg veins and resurfacing of the skin from sun damage. Dr. George Varghese received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester. After college, he pursued his MD degree at SUNY Stony Brook Medical School. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York and was honored Intern of the Year. He completed his residency in Dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He served as the Chief Resident in his final year and worked as leader and educator for the residency program. Dr. George Varghese practices Monday through Thursday on the Upper West Side at 2315 Broadway, 2nd Floor.
