Dr Joshua Reuss is a thoracic medical oncologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and an assistant professor at Georgetown University. He specializes in lung cancer, mesothelioma, and thymoma. His research focuses on creating new treatments and clinical trials to improve care for these cancers. He studies how lung cancer responds to immunotherapy and how to overcome resistance to treatment. In 2019, he won the Young Investigator Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation. Dr Reuss earned his biology degree at Brandeis University and his medical degree at the University of Rochester. He trained at the University of Virginia and Johns Hopkins.
