Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: Helping others was always something I wanted to do, even as a child. Nursing allows me the ability to reach a diverse population of individuals and deliver care that no other career could provide. What I want my patients to know about me: Whether I was a in a role as a nurse or nurse practitioner, I have always felt it was important to make my patient's feel like they are an essential part of their plan of care.
