Salman A Eraj, MD, MBA, joined City of Hope Atlanta in August 2023 as a radiation oncologist treating patients diagnosed with all types of cancer. Since earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas, Dr Eraj has developed expertise in a variety of radiation therapy technologies, including stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), Gamma Knife® and CyberKnife® radiosurgery and high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy. Dr Eraj has had a lifelong curiosity for science. While he considered careers in business and technology, he was drawn to the medical field at an early age, inspired by both parents’ impact as physicians.
