My care philosophy is deeply rooted in self-empowerment and fostering self-worth for my patients. I am passionate about equipping my patients with the knowledge of obesity as a chronic disease with a complex interplay of factors. Through this knowledge, I hope they will build a degree of self-efficacy by focusing on the health behaviors they can truly control and mitigate the internalized stigma they may have held onto for years. In turn, I work collaboratively, with the help of emerging medical strategies, to assist them in attaining their health goals.
