My name is Jeffrey P Jacobs, MD, FACS, FACC, FCCP, and I am a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics in the UF Health Congenital Heart Center and UF Health Shands Children's Hospital. I have been a Professor at UF since 2020. Previously, I served as a cardiac surgeon at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital from 1998 to 2019 and was a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University. From 2007 to 2018, I was the Director of the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Heart Transplantation Program, which performed over 180 pediatric heart transplants and specialized in high-risk pediatric cardiac transplantation.
