Upon graduation, Dr Conatser completed a family practice residency followed by a senior residency where she rotated through Houston ophthalmology practices including pediatrics at Baylor, glaucoma, retina, and oculoplastic clinics. In 1997 she joined an ophthalmology clinic where she worked as a glaucoma specialist with Dr Price Jenkins and Dr Fish until 2012.

Dr Tammy Conatser was born and raised in Indiana, she completed her undergraduate at Ball State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Master of Arts in Biology.
