Dr. Steven N. Seyedin is a board-certified UCI Health radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of cancers of the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems.
He is skilled in stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and immunoradiotherapy. His clinical interests include treatment of cancers of the prostate, kidney, stomach, liver, pancreas, bladder and gallbladder, as well as colorectal and esophageal cancers.
Seyedin earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by a research fellowship in radiation oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He completed residency training in radiation oncology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.
His research interests involve the application of radiation for gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. His work has been published in national journals, including JAMA Oncology, Frontiers in Oncology, Radiation Research and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics.
Seyedin, who speaks conversational Farsi, sees patients at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
