Dr. Pablo R. Lopez, MD, FACC is a board-certified Invasive Cardiologist based in Orlando, FL. With over 20 years of medical experience, he specializes in cardiovascular diseases, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, invasive coronary angiography and cardiac catheterizations. Dr Lopez earned his medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. He attended a cardiology residency at Dante Pazzanese Cardiology Insitute in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He went on to complete an internal medicine residency, serving as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease, serving as chief fellow, both at East Tennessee State University. In addition to being published in several peer-reviewed journals and presenting at national conferences, Dr Lopez is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiovascular Disease, National Board of Echocardiography, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Dr. Lopez has received numerous honors and awards for his outstanding research and his performance during traning. He is an active member of the Pan-American Medical Associacion of Central Florida and he is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
