Megan Puckett, MD is an Assistant Professor and geriatrician at the University of Utah. She is a native Nebraskan who graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and continued her training in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. There, she discovered her passion for caring for older adults and as a result, went on to complete a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Puckett’s current outpatient primary care practice is at Madsen Geriatrics Clinic at the University of Utah. She has a particular clinical interest in fall evaluations, polypharmacy reduction, and end-of-life care. She is also the Director for the Inpatient Geriatrics Consult service at the University Hospital. Her academic interests include geriatric medical education and systems quality improvement to provide age-friendly-care. She enjoys gardening, paddleboarding, backpacking, and hiking around the beautiful state of Utah.
