Dr. Yi-Ju Chen is an attending Gynecologic Oncologist atNewYork-Presbyterian Queens and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetricsand Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine. After graduating from NationalDefense Medical Center in Taiwan, Dr. Chen completed her residency at BronxCareHealth System, where she was honored with multiple awards. Shen then completeda fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Dr.Yi-Ju Chen sees women with all gynecologic cancers and those who requirecomplex gynecologic procedures. In addition, Dr. Chen cares for a large numberof women with hereditary cancer syndromes. Dr. Chen has extensive training inminimally invasive surgery, extended pelvic resections, and pelvicreconstructive surgery. Dr. Chen is passionate about novel treatments thatchange the landscape of gynecologic oncology. She participates in clinicaltrials and has published peer-reviewed articles in prominent journals. Dr. Chenalso holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, in whichshe concentrates on how cancer disparities impact health outcomes.
