Dr Matthew Mejia is board certified in Family Medicine with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University and earned a Master of Public Health at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his Medical Degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Harbor-UCLA, where he treated pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. After completing his residency, he did a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute.
Dr Mejia is committed to keeping his patients healthy, emphasizing a preventive approach as much as possible.
