The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at UW Medical Center - Northwest has operated for 20 years. The program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and is staffed by a medically-trained, multidisciplinary team of nurses, exercise physiologists and dietitians, with oversight by a board-certified cardiologist.
The Cardiac Fitness Center is outfitted with state-of-the-art monitoring devices, the latest exercise equipment, and dressing rooms with lockers and showers.
Patients enrolled in the program participate in exercise sessions supervised by critical care nurses and exercise physiologists specializing in cardiac rehabilitation.
