Sarah Kervin is a speech-language pathologist specializing in voice disorders at the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice at Weill Cornell Medicine. Sarah began her career as a working musician. She studied jazz saxophone and voice at the University of South Carolina and the University of North Texas before moving to New York City, where she worked as a recording artist, wedding band manager, and songwriter. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music for almost a decade, where she created a specialized education and "vocal triage" program to facilitate early intervention for young performers with voice problems. Following a vocal injury of her own, Sarah went back to school and received her master's degree in speech-language pathology from New York University. She continues to teach, write, and perform and is passionate about rehabilitating other working professionals.
