Dr. Maese received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed his pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and went on to complete a clinical fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at the University of Utah.He joined the faculty of the University of Utah in 2015, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. His clinical and research interests include high risk acute leukemia, relapsed acute leukemia, rare tumors and cancer genomics. He also has an interest in medical education.Services
