Dr. Dominic Moore received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate, in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Moore completed his Pediatric residency at Phoenix Children“s Hospital and served as Pediatric Chief Resident. He then completed a Palliative Medicine Fellowship at San Diego Hospice/Scripps Mercy. Dr. Moore is a member of the Gold Humanism honor society and has been recognized for his teaching, service, and leadership. Dr. Moore is double board-certified in Pediatrics and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and serves as the Associate Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Moore is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and Division Chief of Pediatric Palliative Care. He is the Senior Medical Director of Home Service (which includes Hospice and Palliative Medicine) for Intermountain Healthcare. Dr. Moore's clinical, research, and teaching interests include communicating effectively, responsible opioid prescribing, self-care for providers, and the role that spirituality plays in healthcare interactions. Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and writing/recording music.
