Nasim Shahbazi, MD
Dr Shahbazi joined Balboa Nephrology in 2021. She currently practices in the Fountain Valley area. Dr Shahbazi moved to Canada after graduating from medical school. She did her internal medicine residency at Queen's University and her nephrology fellowship at the University of Ottawa. She worked at the University of Ottawa and then at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine as a nephrologist and assistant professor for ten years before moving to the United States to stay closer to her family. Dr Shahbazi has board certification in nephrology in Canada and in the United States. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and has been awarded the Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
