Lorraine Mendez, MD, is a University of Florida assistant professor of emergency medicine and a board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physician at UF Health Jacksonville. She received her medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Puerto Rico's Federico Trilla Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville.
