Stuart Fisk is a certified registered adult nurse practitioner specializing in HIV and primary care. He is Director of Strategy at AHN Center for Inclusion Health, and principal investigator for the Ryan White Grant, Positive Health Clinic.
Stuart believes working in a multidisciplinary team that takes the whole person into account is the best way to turn health care into health. He uses a harm reduction approach to behavior change and helps patients make the practical changes they see as important and possible in order to be healthier and have a better quality of life. He is clinically interested in transgender health, sexual health, substance use disorder, mental health, and palliative care. He has a DATA 200 Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine.
Stuart earned Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from West Virginia University, and a Master of Science in nursing from San Francisco State University in San Francisco, California. He has a certificate for CRNP Adult Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He is certified as an adult nurse practitioner by the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care. He speaks English and sees patients 18 and older who are HIV-positive.
