Alan Kerr II, MD, PhD
Dr D Alan Kerr is a hematologist-oncologist and physician scientist with Tampa General Hospital, where he previously conducted continuity clinic work with a focus on malignant hematology. He specializes in malignant hematology. Prior to joining Tampa General, Dr Kerr treated patients in a private community practice at Advanced Cancer Treatment Centers (ACTC) in Brooksville, Fla., after completing a three-year hematology and medical oncology fellowship program with Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. Before that, he completed an internal medicine residency program at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he served as a chief medical resident.
