Hoag Hospital Irvine opened in September 2010 and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including a fully staffed emergency room. Located on Sand Canyon Avenue and Alton Parkway, just off the 405 freeway, this campus is an extension of Hoag's services in Newport Beach and its six Hoag Health Centers throughout Orange County. Hoag is dedicated to creating the best experience possible for our patients. This visitor information area provides information to help you and those close to you during a hospital stay. Hoag Hospital Irvine has joined Hoag Hospital Newport Beach as a designated Cardiovascular Receiving Center (CVRC), awarded by the Orange County Emergency Medical Services (OCEMS). With this designation, Irvine/South County residents can be taken to Hoag Hospital Irvine for emergency cardiac care. Hoag Infusion Center in Irvine offers services for cancer and non-cancer patients in Irvine and the surrounding community. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and is located at 16300 Sand Canyon Avenue, Suite 504. Nothing compares to the experience of being pregnant and ultimately welcoming a baby into the world. And as the needs and desires of today's expectant and new mothers change, Hoag is making sure the labor and childbirth experience changes as well. General Information The Information Desk is located inside the main entrance. Attendants are available to assist with room direction and other information. Patient Billing A customer service representative is available to answer specific financial questions or to receive a payment Monday through Friday in the Cashiers office. Smoking Hoag is a smoke, vapor and tobacco-free campus. No smoking is allowed. Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's) ATM's are available in the cafeteria. US Mail Drops US Mail drop box is located near the gift shop on the first floor. Concerns or Questions If there is a concern regarding patient care, please notify the patient's caregiver or a supervisor. Patient Relations representatives can assist with patient rights, problems or concerns, interpretation of hospital policy and procedure, or lost items. The Patient Relations staff is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at 949-764-8220. If you need immediate assistance after regular business hours, contact the charge nurse or nurse supervisor. They can be reached by calling the hospital operator at 949-764-HOAG (4624). Self-Parking Free on-site parking is available. Valet Parking Hoag Hospital Irvine also offers a valet program available daily from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., at the Hoag Hospital Irvine entrance and Emergency Department. The program is available to patients and visitors for Hoag Hospital Irvine and Hoag Orthopedic Institute. Rates are as follows: 0-4 hours: $4 4 - 24 hours: $6 There is a 3-day maximum rate of $18 All payments will be processed through the Flash Valet program, regardless if a participant uses the text message (SMS function). Participants who wish to pay in cash will be sent to the Cashier's office during operating hours. Cash will not be accepted if the Cashier's office is closed. Participants who need to retrieve their vehicle after 4:30 p.m. can do so by calling Security at 949-279-8031 to pick up their keys. Flash Valet Program Flash Valet is a system that manages valet retrieval requests and payments through text messages (SMS). This system improves the overall parking experience by reducing lines for valet services as well as the payment kiosks Flash Valet is easy and can be done in the following steps: 1. Valet will provide the guest with a ticket upon arrival. 2. When ready to depart, the guest will text his/her ticket number to the phone number provided on the valet ticket. Phone numbers are hidden at all times from valet attendants to protect the privacy of anyone using Flash Valet. 3. The guest will receive a text message with a link to pay with any credit/debit card or PayPal account. The $3 ED discount can be processed through Flash Valet as well. All payments will be processed directly through Hoag. The valet will let the guest know when his/her car is ready through a text message. 5. Valet guests have the option to do a 1 click customer experience survey as well for real time feedback.
