Craig Hullett, MD, Ph.D. is a radiation oncologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]), working with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients diagnosed with a variety of types and stages of cancer. Some of the specific techniques he uses to treat his patients includes brachytherapy, accelerated partial breast irradiation and intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT). It's important to me to treat each patient as an individual; knowing that, just as every cancer is different, every patient is different, he says. I always try to keep in mind that, while I see patients and treat cancer all day long, for the patient, it's a new, unfamiliar experience.
