He then completed a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, where he was named chief fellow.
Dr Eisenberg is a general pulmonologist with clinical interests in asthma and COPD. As an Assistant Professor in the division of pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine, Dr Eisenberg co-directed the multidisciplinary complex asthma conference.
