Mohamed Hegazi, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist with UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center where he works with the Blood Cancers, Cellular Therapeutics and Transplant Program (BCT). He specializes in cellular therapy and bone marrow transplants treating cancers of the blood and bone marrow including leukemia and lymphoma. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr Hegazi is also involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and was one of the society’s nominees for “Man of the Year” in 2019. He now serves as the Section Chief of BCT.
