Stephen Burns
Stephen Burns is a board certified Nurse Practitioner in the practice of cardiology since 2002. He works in the inpatient environment at Vassar Brothers Medical Center for The Heart Center. Stephen finds that the best part of the job is the time spent getting to know the patients, not just about their illnesses but also about their life experiences. Stephen specializes in managing acute cardiac conditions including chest pain, heart attacks, heart failure and arrhythmias. A special interest for Stephen is working with the tobacco addicted patient to quit smoking. When not working, Stephen can be found spending family time or otherwise he's sure to be somewhere in the forest on one of many trails in the beautiful Hudson Valley.Services
