About Dr. Kevin T. Lie
He is an accomplished dual-board certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with over a decade of experience and has been a LifeHope partner since its inception.
A Midwest native, he received his undergraduate degree from C.W.R.U. and MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management. He received his medical degree abroad from the Flinders University School of Medicine, AUS before completing his diagnostic radiology residency and vascular & interventional radiology fellowship in the C.W.R.U. University Hospitals and Metro Health Systems.
Starting his career in his hometown of Cleveland, OH, Dr. Lie was appointed an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic and Vascular & Interventional Radiology in the University Hospital Health System.
Due to his clinical and technical expertise in managing patients with the most complex medical issues, Dr. Lie built the Interventional Oncology Program at University Hospitals in 2010 and was an integral member of the UH Hepatic Transplant Team. He then consulted and practiced in Delaware in both the Christiana Care and Bayhealth Systems. In 2013, he fostered the interventional oncology program and established the trans arterial radioembolization program at Christiana Care. He also served as an honorary member of the Einstein Liver Transplant Team. He was named Top Doctor by Philadelphia Magazine because of his contributions and impact in that region.
Owing to the constantly evolving healthcare environment, Dr. Lie took his talents into the outpatient realm at the end of 2018. In Pittsburgh, PA, he served as the medical director in one of the first nationally based outpatient ambulatory surgery centers performing the most complex embolization and limb salvage procedures.
As one of the most innovative members of his specialty, in addition to multiple publications and research, Dr. Lie has multiple American and international medical device patents including a Class IV implantable intravascular embolic protection device. He has another vascular medical device on the horizon for domestic, international patents, and future commercialization.
Currently, Dr. Lie is the Medical Director and managing partner of the LifeHope Healing Med Spa, Interventional Institute, and Medical Imaging platforms in Alpharetta, GA. Of note, Dr. Lie was selected and recently honored as one of the Faces of Dior 2021 by CityBox Media - Atlanta for his pioneering spirit and influence.
With a comprehensive scope of practice, Dr. Lie is an expert in all areas of minimally invasive treatments and therapies.
