Steven W Boyce, MD is an internationally-renowned cardiothoracic surgeon and one of the most experienced in the country, having performed over 12,500 major cardiac operations. Dr Boyce received his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins, his medical degree from the University of Maryland, and completed his internship and residency in surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his chief residency in cardiothoracic surgery and fellowship in cardiac transplantation at UCLA. Following a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School, he moved to Washington, DC.
