Jonathan Cohen, MD is an Associate Member in the Department of Anesthesiology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is board-certified in both anesthesiology and critical care medicine and holds a Master of Science degree in Patient Safety Leadership. He has been the patient safety officer of the anesthesiology department since 2012 and has led several safety initiatives aimed at improving the response to crisis events in the operating room, improving communication between members of the anesthesia care team, and improving the treatment of opioid overdose. Dr Cohen has been the recipient of Moffitt's Excellence in Safety Award for two consecutive years.
