Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: From an early age I was exposed to healthcare as my father is also a physician. I saw the connection he had with members of our community whom he had treated and taken care of, and I saw the enjoyment he found in his work and service to the community. What I want my patients to know about me: Above all else, when patients come to see me the first thing I try to do is get to know who they are as people, not patients. My patients had better get ready to tell me their life story when they meet me for the first time! What I do when I'm not seeing patients: In my spare time, I like to practice martial arts - specifically Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I also enjoy reading, hiking, and archery.
