Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I have always been a very science-oriented person. I have also always enjoyed challenges and challenging myself. In the medical field, not only do I have those opportunities, but being able to help others made a career in medicine a great fit for me. What I want my patients to know about me: I have a laid back personality and don't want my patient interactions to be too stuffy or formal. I want patients to feel comfortable talking to me so we can work together to get them better. What I do when I'm not seeing patients: I spend a lot of time with my kids and family. We enjoy a lot of sporting activities. I also love to travel as much as possible.
