Joseph Miller
Dr. Joseph I. Miller received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Emory University. He completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center then returned to Emory to complete a cardiology fellowship. Dr. Miller was the recipient of the Emory University Attending Teaching Award, Department of Medicine and was chosen as the Emerging Science of Lipid Management - Emerging Leader in Field for five consecutive years. He is a past recipient of the National Health Institute's (NIH) fellowship training award and is actively involved in multiple research projects. Dr. Miller is currently a clinical assistant professor at Georgia Health Sciences University and an associate professor of medicine at Mercer University. Dr. Miller is board certified in cardiology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and has participated in several national committees. Dr. Miller has reviewed and chaired sessions specifically in topics related to prevention at the Annual Scientific Sessions. He is a member of the American Medical Association and has served as an editorial board reviewer for the Archives of Internal Medicine, Circulation, and Clinical Cardiology.Services
