In September of 2024, I sustained critical injuries from being thrown off of a Clydesdale horse. I lost consciousness and had no memory of the event. Thus, even I, a non-medical person, know that I sustained a head injury, with possible back and neck injuries. I arrived at 6:05PM by EMS at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where Sean P. Mitchell, PA was in charge of my care. He ordered numerous tests. The final test, the head CT scan was performed at 11:48PM, 5 and ½ hours after my arrival!!!

I had a 6mm brain bleed in the back of my brain and 4 to 6 very small brain bleeds in the front of my brain. Mr. Mitchell was in charge of my care and left me unattended to for 5.5 hours with a brain bleed. I do not recommend this PA to anyone.
