E. Van Johnson
Dr. Ernest Van Johnson, MD, received a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Alabama and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After completing his residency at Eye Foundation Hospital/University of Alabama in Birmingham, he served in the United States Air Force as Chief of the Ophthalmology Department and Director of Continuing Medical Education in Phoenix, Arizona. In 1992, he established Tuscaloosa Ophthalmology in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he practices general ophthalmology with special interest in cataract surgery, laser treatment, and the management of glaucoma and diabetic eye diseases.Services
