Dr Danielpour is the gold standard for neurosurgery and for care in general. He actually listens to us. He takes his time with the family, with the patient. He is present. The other point that is really critical and is different to all the other drs we see (which is about 5 actively) is that he dictates his notes at the end in front of us. This is a wonderful way to recap everything, making sure everyone is on the same page, everything is understood, and if there are any further questions that they can be addressed. This should be standard practice. Every single time he has had to deliver us terrible news, which sadly has been more times than most families should have to hear, he has done it in such a caring, kind, professional, loving way. It is so obvious he cares about what he does. He sees our child as a human, as a person, as the beautiful soul and personality that he is, not just another number or patient coming through. To have been practicing medicine for as long as Danielpour has, and to still have the heart and soul to see each patient as their individual selves is nothing short of incredible and a miracle. We are well aware of the fact that our child would not be here today if it were not for Dr Danielour. Not just on one but multiple occasions. We trust him to make the best decisions. He never does so out of haste, even at one point he is the one that encouraged us - told us to, get a second opinion, and he also conferred with others because he is so humble of a man. Dr Danielpour is what every doctor should be. He sees the human, he treats the human and soul, he listens, he includes everyone, and he has wonderful interactions with our child. He is why we worked with the Navy to get humanitarian orders to be able to stay in place so our son could be treated consistently by him. That is how much we love him.
