Kaitlyn Hite received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Saint Leo University. She completed medical school at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and her family medicine residency at Northwest Washington Family Medicine in Washington. Dr. Hite has additional training in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She also holds a professional diploma in International Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Hite’s experience includes work at a free clinic that provides healthcare to the underserved population. She also traveled to Myanmar as a medical student to provide care at three medical clinics and traveled to Uganda on a medical mission. Her experience also includes tutoring and instructing of other medical students. She is an instructor of a fertility awareness based method of family planning and is competent in natural family planning.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians, and the Catholic Medical Association.
