Yoosif Abdalla MBChB, MD, FACP, MBA, is an assistant professor of medicine and the director of critical care nephrology in the Division of Renal Disease and Hypertension at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and The GW Medical Faculty Associates. Dr Abdalla received his medical degree, MBChB, from the Al-Arab Medical University, Libya. He completed his internal medicine residency at Louis A Weiss Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. After a brief tenure as a hospitalist at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center, he went on to complete a nephrology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center, where he served as the chief fellow. He also completed an additional fellowship in critical care medicine.
