Micah Lissy, MD, MS PT, ATC, CSCS
Micah Lissy, MD, MS, PT, ATC, CSCS, board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who joined MSU Health Care Sports Medicine in August 2022. He has a master's degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College and is certified as an athletic trainer and strength coach. He spent time working in all three of these professions with Professional Olympic and Recreational athletes before pursuing his medical degree. He draws on all of these experiences when providing patient care and lecturing. Dr Lissy received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, New York Program and completed an internship and a residency in orthopedics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
