Susan Kartiko, MD, PhD, FACS is an assistant professor of surgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Dr Kartiko completed medical school and training in General Surgery at Aber Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She then completed a fellowship in surgical critical care at Boston University Medical Center. She worked at University of Massachusetts-Baystate Medical Center from 2016-2019 in the Division of Trauma, Emergency Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Dr Kartiko's research interest include surgical education, trauma surgery, and geriatric trauma.
