Dr Marco Mercader is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiac electrophysiology, and cardiovascular disease. Along with his current position as cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist, he is also an associate professor with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He is a magna cum laude graduate in bioengineering from Syracuse University. He completed his medical school training at the State University of New York where he received the American Federation for Clinical Research Award. Dr Mercader trained in internal medicine at George Washington University and completed his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the same institution.
