Dr. Mulholland earned his undergraduate and medical degrees with the highest honors from the University of Virginia, followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia. He was then selected for a one-year fellowship in Sports Medicine at the world-renowned Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in California. While in Los Angeles, he worked with the LA Lakers, Dodgers, Kings and Galaxy, the Anaheim Angels and Ducks, the University of Southern California, and athletes from all over the world.
Working with professional athletes allowed him to focus on the rapid diagnosis and efficient treatment of sports injuries. Bringing his wealth of experience to Pennsylvania, he served as the Pittsburgh Riverhounds team doctor from their inception in 1999 through 2005. He continues as the team physician for Quaker Valley High School and serves as a consultant for several other high schools, clubs, and local colleges. Dr. Mulholland also serves as an editor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
He is currently accepting patients in our Cranberry Twp., Moon Twp. And Sewickley offices, treating primarily shoulder and knee conditions as well as Sports Medicine and overuse injuries.
