Carrie McCormick, APRN, is an ANCC board-certified advanced practice registered nurse at Memorial Physician Services—Vine Street. She earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing. She graduated with distinction with a master of science degree and certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from St. Francis Medical Center College.
Before joining the team at MPS—Vine Street, Carrie worked as a registered nurse on the acute psychiatric unit at Memorial Medical Center for nine years. In 2016, she was honored with the DAISY Award, which recognizes excellence in nursing. Carrie has presented psychiatric research at the American Psychiatric Nursing National Conference and research she co-authored has been published in the American Psychiatric Nursing Journal.
