Karra Adams, DNP, is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in orthopedic trauma for patients ages 18 and older. She assesses an array of orthopedic injuries and then develops treatment plans using the most up-to-date, evidence-based methods to maximize her patients' recoveries.
Having worked in an orthopedic-trauma unit for 10 years, Karra knows firsthand that surviving and recovering from an orthopedic-trauma injury is a vulnerable time for patients and their families. She's made it her mission to develop care plans to facilitate the complex rehabilitation process.
Karra is a part of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
