I believe that the best treatment for a patient begins with education. It can be difficult to cure some ailments, but taking the time to share information and come to a joint treatment decision can be impactful. My mother was a nurse so I was exposed to the medical profession from an early age and knew I wanted to be a physician. As a medical student, I watched as surgeons carefully dissected out a nerve that controls facial movement. Though their movements were slow and meticulous, time flew and I knew Otolaryngology was the field for me.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, skiing, reading, and cooking.
