Stephen Boorstein is board certified in ophthalmology. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in Amherst, MA and his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Boorstein completed his internship in surgery at Emanuel Hospital and Health Care Center in Portland, OR and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor, MI.
Boorstein's practice is focused on refractive surgery and cataract surgery. He is especially interested in new technologies in refractive and cataract surgery.
Dr. Boorstein is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association. He is also a clinical adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison-WI.
