Herbst's practice is focused on management of musculoskeletal injuries with the goal of fast recovery, taking care of children and adolescents, management of obstetrical care providing low-risk prenatal care up to 32 week-no deliveries, postpartum care, and procedures such as colonoscopies, vasectomies, upper endoscopies, IUD and Nexplanon placement, cyst removal, and laceration repair.
Herbst is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Mathew Herbst is a board certified family medicine physician. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his master's degree in physical therapy and medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health-Madison.
