Claire Jacobs-Sims, MS, FNP-C is a nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Pulmonary Division. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In collaboration with attending physicians, she manages pediatric patients with asthma, sleep apnea, allergic rhinitis, and multiple comorbidities associated with pulmonary disorders. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a study clinician for the NIH Asthma supported projects focused on the control of asthma in inner-city minority children. Claire completed her master’s degree in science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Prior to joining the Pediatric Pulmonology division in 2019, Claire had 13 years’ experience as an RN in neonatal intensive care, women’s health and community health.
