Dr Gomez, a Venezuelan-born physician, received her Medical Doctor degree in her home country. She was then certified to practice medicine in the United States and completed her Internal Medicine residency in New York City, followed by an Infectious Diseases fellowship in Roanoke, Virginia. She has treated and educated patients in various settings, from major cities to rural hospitals. Dr Gomez is dedicated to sharing her knowledge as a professor at Virginia Tech School of Medicine. She is known for providing compassionate patient care and treating them like family. Currently residing in Roanoke with her husband and son, she enjoys cooking recipes from different cultures and cherishes quality time with her loved ones.
