Matthew S Lazarus, MD, PhD, is an attending radiologist at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Lazarus’s clinical focus is on cardiothoracic imaging. This includes computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radiographs for the chest, and dedicated CT and MRI for the heart. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Cornell University in 2005, Dr Lazarus completed the MD/PhD program at Stony Brook University, earning his Doctorate of Philosophy in Neuroscience in 2011 and his Doctorate of Medicine in 2013.
