He began his medical career attending undergraduate school at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology and Pre-Medicine in 1993. During his undergraduate education, he worked for two years in the neuropsychology department at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. In 1998, Dr Wargo graduated from medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
